The Spiider® product family truly sets itself apart. With the eye-catching Robe patented MCFE™ – Multi-Coloured Flower Effects – emitting sharp, multi-coloured spikes of light, including variable speed and rotation direction control to further increase the projection of charismatic in-air animations. Dynamic video effects are easily achieved by mapping individual pixels and controlled by DMX desk or media servers via sACN with internal HTP merging, DMX or by Kling-Net protocol. Equipped with Robe's innovative lens coating technology, the lenses keep bright and clear, with no scratches or marks, providing higher light output for longer intervals between cleaning.

Perfect colour and dimming control are available via RGBW and CMY colour mixing modes; our 18 Bit L3™ Low Light Linearity dimming software for imperceptible fades to black; variable CCT of 2.700K – 8.000K; tungsten emulation simulating the red shift and thermal delay of tungsten lamps for whites from 2.700K – 4.200K; and our DataSwatch™ 237 pre-programmed colour library.

EMS™ – Electronic Motion Stabiliser

The Robe EMS™ (Electronic Motion Stabiliser) system is a technology for precise Pan and Tilt movements, which reduces vibrations from audio outputs, truss movement and sprung or suspended floors.

RLCT™ – Robe lens coating technology

Just like with spectacles, our lens coating technology protects soft plastic lenses against surface scratches, that can even occur during cleaning when scrubbed repeatedly. Anti-static properties prevent dust build-up on the lenses, thus extending the period between maintenance cleaning.

EasyClean™

Cleaning multiple pixel lenses can be tedious and time consuming. To streamline maintenance and ensure a dust-free environment for the optics, we have developed the patented EasyClean™ lens sandwich system. This innovative design simplifies individual lens removal, cleaning and replacement.

The L3™ Low Light Linearity System produces imperceptible, ultra-smooth fades to black.

GDTF – General Device Type Format

The General Device Type Format creates a unified definition for exchange of data for the operation of intelligent luminaries, such as moving lights. The file format is human readable and developed using open source formats.

Tungsten Emulation

When selected, the luminaire will mimic the colour temperature of a tungsten lamp as you lower the output to produce that classic warm glow.

QVGA Robe Touch Screen Display System

The QVGA Robe touch screen display gives full access to all fixture setup and diagnostic functions and is very intuitive to navigate.

FW diffusers for pixelated washers

Robe fixtures homogenise beams really well but, for the ultimate smoothness, most of our pixelated LED wash lights can easily be fitted with a Fresnel Wash (FW) diffusion filter in-between the LED array and the lenses. They can also be ordered pre-installed if desired, as FW versions.

REAP™ – Robe Ethernet Access Portal

The Robe Ethernet Access Portal allows to access internal data from a networked fixture, viewed as a web page, addressable via the fixtures network IP.

Robe a SMART Choice for Ice Hockey World Championship Finale

SMART Productions, headed by Josef “Pepa” Ženíšek, supplied all the technical elements required for the two venues – Prague’s O2 Arena and Ostrava Arena – involved in hosting the 2024 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF)’s World Championship tournament. They also co-ordinated technical production in the Prague FanZone area.
