A member of the Robe iSeries, this IP65 rated luminaire gives you those compact WashBeam loved attributes of speed, colour and zoom range while capable of handling all the challenges of being outdoors.

Ideally suited for festivals, concerts, theatre, and outdoor events, or indeed any scenario dealing with inclement or unpredictable weather, the iBeam 250™ retains all the favourite features of its indoor relative, the LEDBeam 150™.

The ingenious ingress protection has been specifically designed and developed to ensure the fixture is completely sealed, to fully comply with IP65 protection standards.

Their aluminium housing gives a dust-free environment for the optics, eliminating the need for frequent cleaning, routine maintenance, and UV damage to plastic parts.

By including NFC (Near-Field Communication) technology, you can access setup, diagnostic and performance features, even when the fixture is not powered, directly from your mobile device using the Robe Com app.

iBeam 250™ uses the same 7 x 40-Watt RGBW multichip LED source as the original, producing an increased output of 4.400 lumens. With the identical 15.5:1 zoom optical system, giving the same, tight 3.8° Beam to wide 60° Wash, you have all the flexibility you require.

Keeping up with technological advances, we have incorporated Epass™ for maintaining network connectivity. For television users, Cpulse™ is included for flicker-free management of HD and UHD camera systems.

Designed to be used indoors or out, we make fixture swap with the original LEDBeam 150™ easy, as the DMX control channels, operating speeds, and feature set of both luminaires are identical.

DataSwatch™ – inbuilt virtual colour library

The DataSwatch™ inbuilt virtual colour library for Robe LED fixtures provides consistent colour rendering with commonly matched filter ranges, allowing for rapid and accurate programming.

RLCT™ – Robe lens coating technology

Just like with spectacles, our lens coating technology protects soft plastic lenses against surface scratches, that can even occur during cleaning when scrubbed repeatedly. Anti-static properties prevent dust build-up on the lenses, thus extending the period between maintenance cleaning.

L3™ – Low Light Linearity System

The L3™ Low Light Linearity System produces imperceptible, ultra-smooth fades to black.

GDTF – General Device Type Format

The General Device Type Format creates a unified definition for exchange of data for the operation of intelligent luminaries, such as moving lights. The file format is human readable and developed using open source formats.

Tungsten Emulation

When selected, the luminaire will mimic the colour temperature of a tungsten lamp as you lower the output to produce that classic warm glow.

FW diffusers for pixelated washers

Robe fixtures homogenise beams really well but, for the ultimate smoothness, most of our pixelated LED wash lights can easily be fitted with a Fresnel Wash (FW) diffusion filter in-between the LED array and the lenses. They can also be ordered pre-installed if desired, as FW versions.

REAP™ – Robe Ethernet Access Portal

The Robe Ethernet Access Portal allows to access internal data from a networked fixture, viewed as a web page, addressable via the fixtures network IP.

Epass™

Robe lighting’s Epass™ provides Ethernet in/out connections with a pass-through switch that sustains Ethernet integrity when the fixture has no power to automatically maintain network connectivity.

Cpulse™ – Pulse Width Modulation Control

Cpulse™ is a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) control system for luminaires that allows you to select and fine-tune the LED driving frequency, from either the fixture's onboard display or remotely via DMX. By frequency manipulation in a range from 800 Hz to 25 kH, you ensure no flicker will be visible on any camera system including the latest HD & UHD models, ready for 8K and 16K. This means our fixtures can be used with all the latest cameras types for TV, video and film applications.
